The HEPHA Mountain 7 Carbon wins the German Design Award 2025
Awarded in the "Excellent Product Design" category: The HEPHA Mountain 7 Carbon impressed the international expert jury of the German Design Awards. Once again, the newcomer from Maisach near Munich has been recognized for the high design quality of its products. The bicycle manufacturer received a second German Design Award for its new brand image.
Off-road performance with outstanding design: the HEPHA Mountain 7 Carbon wins the German Design Award in the "Excellent Product Design" category. The international jury is made up of renowned design experts from business, education and science as well as the design industry. The German Design Award is considered one of the most prestigious international awards.
"Seven design and innovation awards since last year, including two new German Design Awards. We are delighted that the HEPHA design concept has also impressed international juries: dynamic, accentuated and yet unagitated, minimalist and timeless," says Alex Thusbass, CEO of HEPHA, who has himself advised renowned brands on design for many years.
The Mountain 7 Carbon in particular is strategically important for HEPHA as the current performance flagship. "The main challenge was to develop a bike that combines the high performance of up to 100 Nm torque and a capacity of 804 Wh, which is permitted for a maximum total weight of 150 kg, weighs just under 23 kg and is also priced well below 6,000 euros."
In addition to the product award, the new corporate design was also recognized in the "Excellent Communications Design - Brand Identity" category. The new brand identity was created together with the Munich team of the internationally renowned design agency Kiska from Salzburg. "Kiska has developed a great new look. The new corporate design comes across as fresh, friendly and open, and is currently receiving a lot of praise from specialist retailers," concludes Alex Thusbass.
