The #unstealable Urban E-Bike

The Urban 8 Ultra was developed for everyday urban use, where security plays a central role. In the event of theft, the tamper-proof 2Lock system blocks the front wheel, while the alarm with human voice immediately draws attention. Watch mode additionally locks the system and makes the e-bike virtually unsellable through theft identification on the display. Should it still be stolen, the optional HEPHA Replacement Service applies. At the same time, the Urban 8 Ultra is more than a minimalist city bike: the P110 motor with 100 Nm, the removable 600 Wh battery, the Shimano Nexus 5-speed hub gear and the quiet, durable Gates belt get you to your destination quickly and safely. With its MIK-HD luggage rack, the urban e-bike combines sporty elegance with practical functionality – ready for child seat mounting or cargo transport. All this at just 21 kg.

Immobilizer

The 2Lock immobilizer is integrated directly into the hub and locks it together with the axle. A locking bolt that is inaccessible from outside makes the lock 100% burglar-proof. Attempting to escape on the bike or to resell it is therefore almost impossible.

Alarm

Pure deterrent: The innovative alarm system warns with a natural human voice and actively calls for help in an emergency, ensuring maximum attention and effectively deterring thieves.

Watch-Mode

Stolen bikes are often difficult to recognize – until now. The new Watch Mode permanently marks the bike as stolen in the event of theft, making it extremely unattractive for resale. At the same time, the mode blocks all drive components from operating, making the bike unusable for the thieves.

Replacement-Service

If a theft of a bike equipped with the “ATS” is nevertheless successful, the optional HEPHA Replacement Service takes effect: The service can be booked with a one-time fee of €149 when buying a bike – and it protects the e-bike for three years. In an emergency, the stolen bike will be replaced, hassle-free.

The new HEPHA P110 powers the Urban 8 with 100 Nm of torque and 750 W peak power. Despite weighing only 2.8 kg, its smart design and efficient control provide longer, stronger support than many others.

Lightweight, slim 600 Wh battery

The minimalist 600 Wh battery integrates discreetly into slim, lightweight e-bikes. Highly efficient cells and a light aluminum housing keep it under 3.0 kg and deliver 5–10% more real-world range than other 600 Wh batteries.

Shimano Nexus 5-speed hub gear

The 5-speed hub gear is tuned to the demands of powerful mid-drive motors. Its sealed design protects against dirt and moisture, and you can shift even when stationary—ideal for city traffic and daily e-bike use in any weather.

Low-maintenance belt drive

No rattling, no oiling, no rust—the Gates Carbon Drive CDX is made for carefree riding. Durable, quiet, and remarkably strong, it handles long distances and the demands of daily city riding.

2Lock theft protection

In the event of theft, the tamper-proof 2Lock system blocks the front wheel while the alarm with human voice draws attention immediately. Watch mode additionally locks the system and makes the e-bike virtually unsellable thanks to theft identification on the display.

110 lux lighting – for maximum visibility

The e-bike headlight outputs 110 lux and is designed for even, long-range illumination. The beam improves visibility and safety in hectic city traffic—controlled by a light sensor.

Shimano Deore MT410 – reliable 2-piston brake

This hydraulic disc brake uses a 2-piston caliper and is designed for reliable, well-controlled braking power. The simple construction delivers a predictable feel for everyday rides and light tours.

Schwalbe G-One Overland – fast all-round tire

This fast gravel tire uses an open, blocky tread with low knobs. It provides secure grip on gravel, forest paths, and loose surfaces while rolling smoothly on asphalt.
