Reviews from editors:
"The new brand from Maisach in Upper Bavaria put together a team of experts with many years of experience in the cycling industry for the construction of its Trekking 7. An e-bike has been released for 2023 whose frame has gone through high-tech production with intelligent automation processes. The processing of the stylish, one-piece downtube design is excellent, and the seat tube is dynamically curved downwards. It is available in the colors dark gray or sand. The specially developed Hepha mid-engine comes with a torque of 80, 90 or even 100Nm. The bulky down tube accommodates the long-range 708 Wh battery, and the charging socket is parallel to the head tube at a comfortable height.
In the cockpit, there is tidiness around the centrally placed display – the stem is adjustable, and the handlebars are slightly curved upwards. The seating position is not too sporty, allowing for an assertive and agile ride from a standing start. The easily accessible control buttons allow for switching between three support modes - Eco, Tour, and Turbo - with the latter making even the steepest inclines easy to tackle. Shimano's 10-speed Deore gears are appropriate for this purpose. The Tektro disc brakes provide secure stopping power, even in wet conditions, and the mudguards also perform well in the rain. The only aspect that could be improved is long-distance comfort: the saddle and handlebar grips could be more precisely designed to relieve pressure points. If trekking tours end in the dark, special lens technology ensures good visibility from the side."
We're stoked about this good news! You can catch it in the latest issue of ElektroRad Magazine.
