City 7 rated “very good” in ElektroRad magazine
In its 2026 e-bike test, ElektroRad magazine tested a total of 88 pedelecs thoroughly. Our City 7 Performance was also included in the “City Standard” category, which covers classic city bikes for everyday use. The City 7 impressed the testers as a comfortable, versatile companion for everyday use and occasional rides. It was awarded a “very good” rating and received a score of 1.6.
In terms of ride quality, the City 7 impressed with its low-step frame and upright, relaxed ergonomics. The testers rated the combination of a 5-speed hub gear and Gates belt drive as a harmonious, low-maintenance setup that is perfectly suited for daily use in city traffic. The ElektroRad testers also attested that the 100 Nm P101 motor delivers smooth, rather gentle power delivery rather than brute force.
