Bike Fitting Without Hardware or Measuring Tools: HEPHA Brings ErgoAdjust to Dealers

No extra hardware, no measuring tools, no license fees: with ErgoAdjust, HEPHA turns professional bike fitting into a simple part of the sales process. Developed together with the ergonomics experts at gebioMized, the system determines the optimal setup for a HEPHA e-bike within a few minutes. The key difference: the calculated values can be transferred straight to the bike using built-in scales.

With ErgoAdjust, HEPHA gives its dealer partners a digital bike-fitting system free of charge. The web-based application only needs the customer's height, inseam and preferred riding position. The e-bike is captured via its barcode, and all model-specific data comes automatically from the HEPHA server.

From this, ErgoAdjust calculates the right ergonomic settings for that specific bike. Ergonomic adjustment becomes a simple, repeatable process that fits directly into consultation, test ride and handover.

The key difference: adjust, don't measure

What sets ErgoAdjust apart isn't just the digital calculation, but how the result gets onto the e-bike. On the HEPHA models prepared for it, every relevant adjustment point has a clear scale. ErgoAdjust outputs the values, and sales staff transfer them directly to the saddle, cockpit and other adjustable components. Within a few minutes, the e-bike is set up and ready for the test ride.

Professional advice – without additional investment

ErgoAdjust was developed with the bike-fitting and ergonomics specialists at gebioMized. It combines their biomechanical expertise with the vehicle-specific data of HEPHA e-bikes.

"With ErgoAdjust, dealers practically always have our biomechanical know-how with them," says Daniel Schade, Managing Director of gebioMized. "What matters is that the calculation immediately becomes a concrete setting on the bike. That turns bike fitting from a specialist topic into a tool that slots easily into the sales process."

For dealers, ErgoAdjust is free to use. It needs no special hardware, no software installation and no paid licenses. Because it is entirely web-based, it runs on virtually any smartphone, tablet or computer.

No extensive training is needed either. The process guides sales staff step by step through the required inputs and delivers concrete settings instead of abstract ergonomic recommendations. That lets even less experienced team members carry out a consistent, well-founded basic ergonomic setup.

ErgoAdjust Dealer Tool: Simple in everyday use – and always up to date

Technically, too, ErgoAdjust is built to keep the effort for dealers as low as possible. All vehicle and model data is provided centrally. Updates to the application and new bike data are available automatically the next time it's opened. There is no local installation, no software maintenance and no manual updating on the dealer's side.

HEPHA takes a simple approach to data protection as well: only the values needed for the fitting are processed, and no personal customer data is stored.

"Our goal wasn't to build a complete bike-fitting system," says Alex Thusbass, Managing Director of HEPHA. "We wanted to make basic bike fitting so simple that it actually gets used in day-to-day sales, even on the shop floor and even by inexperienced sales staff. For dealers, ErgoAdjust means practically no extra effort and no investment. At the same time, customers get a bike that fits at the first test ride or at handover. That's the win-win for us."

With ErgoAdjust, HEPHA turns bike fitting from an optional specialist service into an uncomplicated part of everyday sales consultation: faster for the dealer, better for the consultation, and a better fit for the customer from the very first meter.
